What is an LVN?

What is an MA program?
An MA program trains students to become Medical Assistants, who perform both administrative and clinical tasks in healthcare settings.
Do I need healthcare experience to apply?
Our programs do not require prior healthcare experience. We are open to all students who are willing to learn! It starts here.
What are the prerequisites for a VN program and MA program?
All programs require a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, as well as an entrance exam. VN students must pass the ATI TEAS-7 and MA students must pass the Wonderlic.
What subjects are covered in an VN program?
Our wide range of courses includes nursing fundamentals, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, obstetrics, and mental health nursing.

Courses usually include medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical billing and coding, pharmacology, clinical procedures, and patient care.
Are there certification exams for MAs?
Yes, certification exams like the CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) can enhance job prospects, though they are not always required.
What exam do I need to pass to become an VN?
Graduates must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) to become licensed.
